This 15th (wow!) edition of MFLAS features the 2nd half of the 3 hour field recording from a late June extended family reunion. These tracks are a bit more repetitive and minimal than the first two reunion tracks. However, I like the melancholic (2.1) and spacey (2.2) vibe so that doesn’t really bother me. These tracks also have more space (2.2 in particular) for the reunion recording to be heard.

This album (as usual as of late) fell together rather quickly. However, listening to the finished tracks… emotionally, they could be inspired by the feeling of all our passed on relatives looking down joyfully on the proceedings that day.

A special thanks goes to Paul Mallatratt for being a sounding board and taking the time to listen to all the Reunion tracks in advance of their release.
