The 9th edition of MFLAS is darkness and light. Both long-ish form tracks were (as with MFLAS 8) created with generative modular patches. Neither of these tracks feature any field recordings, which is pretty rare for me. And, I continue to shamelessly use the names of J.G. Ballard short stories for track titles. 😁

The first track ‘The Garden of Time’ is a brooding and introspective mood piece that represents the darker side. This track delves into the unilluminated corners of the emotional spectrum.

The second track ‘Say Goodbye to the Wind’ is the antithesis of ominous and dark. This piece divides the dark / light dichotomy and ends on a positive note. We all need a little light right now I imagine.
